THE VISION
Monkton is a vibrant, multi-generational community in the heart of Addison County, Vermont. We envision Jones Provisions to be a warm and welcoming space where neighbors and visitors can gather, enjoy coffee and conversation, and pick up daily essentials. Our hope is that the space will serve as an inviting hub of convenience and community for Monkton residents and our surrounding towns.
THE SPACE
Jones Provisions will be located in a historic building on Monkton Ridge in the heart of the Village District. We're excited to give the space new life - preserving its charm and character while giving it a fresh purpose for the community. Renovations are currently underway, and we plan to finish the transformation next year.

About Us
I am Adrienne Jones Raphael, founder and operator of Jones Provisions. I grew up in Monkton and attended Monkton Central School and Mt. Abraham Union High School. After leaving Vermont for college, I returned in 2009 to raise my family here. Today, my two children (ages 10 and 13) attend the same schools I did, and my husband runs Wooden Hammer, a custom cabinetry and woodworking shop in Monkton.
After a nearly 20 year career in international aid and development—supporting communities around the world—I felt a strong pull to harness my skills at home and invest in the place that raised me. I am inspired by the energy and resilience of Monkton’s small businesses, and am excited to contribute to our community’s continued growth and vitality.
